Chiropractic Care

We provide advanced spinal correction and chiropractic adjustments utilizing "state of the art" chiropractic techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic care have chiropractors been able to provide the level of help and expertise that is available today. Many of the newest chiropractic techniques are actually safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before. As chiropractor's who care about utilizing the most advanced chiropractic techniques, our Doctors have years of training, expertise and experience in helping patients get pain relief for back pain, neck pain, headaches, and other related conditions originating from the spine. Chiropractic care under a trained professional can even be used to prevent injuries and help you achieve total health or wellness.

Corrective Exercises

At Schroeder Chiropractic Center, we teach our patients how to perform special "blueprint" exercises which can help strengthen and correct the irregularities in their body which may be causing pain. Many of these corrective exercises can actually be performed in the comfort of your own home to help improve the effectiveness of your chiropractic care and spinal correction plan. In addition to skeletal misalignment, you may be experiencing pain that is caused by muscles and connective tissues which are out of their proper place. Other types of pain such as back pain, neck pain, and headaches are caused by muscles and tissues that are being used improperly, causing injuries over time. In each case, targeted corrective exercises and stretches from our experienced chiropractor will help you feel good while also helping your body achieve balance and health.

Lifestyle Advice

Many of our patients come to see our chiropractor's to address a specific pain symptom such as back pain, neck pain or headaches. While our chiropractor's will address each patient's specific condition with chiropractic care, we often find it helpful to "coach" our patients towards achieving a healthier lifestyle. For example, there may be certain activities that you should avoid or do differently to prevent yourself from unintentionally aggravating your particular health challenges. The goal of including lifestyle advice with a chiropractic care plan is to help each and every patient achieve the fulfilling and happy lifestyle they deserve, one that is full of the activities that are enjoyed most. We recognize that every single one of our patients is a whole person, and we use our expertise to help them reach total health and wellness.

Nutritional Counseling

What does nutrition have to do with chiropractic care? The goal of chiropractic care is to help patients achieve total health and balance with their body, and as part of that goal we provide specific recommendations on nutritional supplements and healthy food choices. Nutritional counseling by our experienced chiropractic health professionals can assist a patient on their return to optimal health. Do you know which supplements and vitamins are good for you? Do you know how these supplements and vitamins interact with one another? At our Fresno chiropractic clinic, we can provide each patient with a structured nutritional program that is based on their individual needs. We sell many supplements in our office with various benefits!

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy does more than make you feel good, it can actually help your body achieve balance and health. Massage therapy offers a natural treatment approach which actually relieves musculoskeletal pain for many patients. Our chiropractic office provides specific massage and muscular therapy that is complimentary to their chiropractic care. Each massage therapy plan is tailored to meet the patient's unique pain condition or injury. The benefits of massage therapy may include the increase of blood circulation, a localized reduction in swelling and the relaxation of muscles. Massage has been known to relieve muscle pain and spasms, increase a patient's range of motion, while also aiding in a patient's recovery. Some investigative studies have even indicated that a single session of massage may help boost your immune system! Our massage therapy services are all priced out of pocket and are available 6 days a week!

Decomp

Decompression

Spinal Decompression is a way for your spine to be gently stretched. The goal of spinal decompression is to help relieve pain in different areas, and help the healing process in areas like the back, neck, arms, and legs.

Laser

Laser Therapy

Laser Therapy treats pain, sprains, strains, & acute/chronic injuries. It is used directly on the injured areas to improve circulation to unhealthy tissues in the body, like muscle, tendons, ligaments, joints, cartilage, disc, skin, bone, etc., in order to speed up the healing process and reduce inflammation. The device looks like an ultrasound machine, but functions very differently, working directly at the mitochondria to stimulate healing and feed cells the energy they need to repair injured tissues. It does not cause any discomfort during treatment, treatment time is ~10-15 minutes per site, and number of treatments can depend on severity and longevity of present injury. Common conditions laser treats: whiplash, plantar fasciitis, tennis and golfer's elbow, carpal tunnel, ankle/knee sprains, finger/toe injuries like turf toe, bruises to surface or bone, post surgical, scars or incision sites, and much more.

.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

HBOT works with the laws of physics to oxygenate every cell in your body for recovery, healing, and treatment of acute/chronic conditions. Since the body is composed of mostly water, the increased air pressure inside the chamber allows oxygen to be absorbed more easily into every cell. All of the fluids in the body become saturated with life-giving oxygen, including blood, plasma, synovial, lymph and spinal fluids. This allows for all the critical and vital cell processes to be performed. Healthier cells = healthier tissues. Healthier tissues = healthier organs. Swelling and inflammation are reduced, while circulation and blood flow are increased or restored to restricted areas. Wounds and injuries heal more rapidly. Recovery from surgery is much faster. Detoxification is also promoted. Anaerobic Bacteria, most viruses, yeast and fungi cannot survive in an oxygen enriched environment. Certain contraindications for HBOT do exist, please discuss with our doctors. Treatment time is 60 minutes once the chamber is fully pressurized. Treatment dosage is case by case basis, depending on severity and longevity of condition.

.

Shockwave Therapy

Restores mobility of joints and tissue with myofascial acoustic compression therapy (myACT). MyACT is a sound approach to treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain. Uses acoustic waves to target tissue  at varying depths to compress and manipulate tissue resulting in a focused and precise deep tissue massage. The results of the mechanical stimulus delivered by MyACT can lead to increased circulation, range of motion and pain relief – key components in the healing process. Treatment for trigger points, scar tissue, enthesopathies, and soft tissue injury. Treatment time is ~15-20 minutes and dosage depends on longevity and severity of current injury.

.

Cranial Facial Release

An advanced endo-nasal "balloon assisted" cranial adjusting technique performed by Dr. Torrey Schroeder, D.C. The skull is made up of 22 individual bones that actually move every time you breathe - or at least they're supposed to. The objective is to mobilize the bones in the face and cranium in order to open up the breathing passageways with the purpose to facilitate normal cranial function, assist breathing, and reduce sinus pressure. Symptoms are usually a sign of dysfunction in the body. If symptoms are "masked" for long enough without addressing the cause of the problem, this "long term dysfunction" leads to a breakdown in the system, which eventually gives rise to disease. What to expect during and after CFR treatment: The technique is performed by inserting a tiny balloon in the nose (naso-pharynx) then quickly inflating it to mobilize and release pressure in the face, sinuses, and cranium. The severity and chronicity of the symptoms can help determine the number of treatments.
